the audience i feel fit best for this piece is the first audience because in the passage they talk about how he tries to use words such as calling us stupid feeding off our emotions. he compares the power of being a winning team and the power it gives them over other teams that are loosing. So as to speak the winning team would be America and with that comes power. he wants to change our minds and attitudes with changing the subject matter to fit a more understanding circumstance. he tells the reader what they should consider.
Stein portrays himself as a voice for the under dog or minorities.
i believe he was not trying to convince anyone, he is a speaking for those who agree with him and to make them feel they are right. to give them reassurance.
No, because he immediately starts the reading off with calling them out. He wants to rally up those who believe and agree with him. He does not care what the audience thinks only those who agree with him.
I feel that stein is trying to get us to understand that there is a future to success without having to be the dominant one. In my opinion like the saying you dont have to dim someones else light to shine.
I feel the problem with having a essay like this is it could be very hard to understand what point of view the author is trying to get you to agree with. because you could agree with one point of view from one side and some from the other sides of the argument.
